From day dot Hip Hop has been branded as a young man's (& women's) sport..but on the two tracks Slick Rick guested on in 2009 (Mos Def's 'Auditorium' & Raekwon's 'We Will Rob U') he has undoubtedly upped the Hip Hop retirement age..proving that at 44(?!!) he still is the Ruler!
Dude still sounds as fresh as the crazy cat from Wimbledon who burst onto the scene with 'Children's Story' & 'Hey Young World' over 20 years ago.
