Lee Morgan is straight up dope! His album 'Search for the New Land' is one of the first jazz albums I ever purchased (back in the day, modal jazz was my addiction & fopp was my haven)! The line-up he assembled for this LP reads like a legends of jazz list:

Herbie Hancock: Piano
Reggie Workman: Bass
Billy Higgins: Drums

To put it in modern terms..imagine a full length Hip Hop album with:
